Vintage Virginia Widgeon Drake Duck Decoy

Item Details

A vintage Virginia Widgeon Drake duke decoy. This decoy, attributed to Chincoteague, Virginia from a Cambridge, Maryland estate. It is constructed of a soft wood, either southern yellow pine or cedar, and has tack eyes, a bottom weighted ballast, and a wooden dowel that extends through the top of its head.

Condition

- some cracks and wear; repainted and repaired.
