A collection of antique ephemera. The collection consists of three items. Included is an 1842 Bank of Kentucky stock certificate for five 100 dollar shares. The engraved certificate was printed by E. Lyman and Co, Louisville and features the image of Columbia flanked by putti resting on barrels and other fruits of the harvest. Also included is a handwritten horse training contract between W.J. Williams and W.J. Marshall. Marshall agrees to break, train and straighten the tail of the 3-year-old stud belonging to Williams. Finally, there is a bank loan issued for 529 dollars from the Savings Institute of Harrodsburg. The piece of paper dated 1861 features the image of a Native American on one side and printed text on the other.
