A collection of colored glass bead rosaries from The Vatican Library Collection. This selection of five rosaries features a piece with blue glass beads from the Santa Maria collection; a rosary with red beads from the Trinity collection; a clear bead Basilica rosary; a green glass Papal rosary; and one with a silver tone crucifix with black beads from the Monastery collection. All five pieces come in their original boxes with certificates of authenticity. These rosaries were designed by Sy Mayerson for The Vatican Library.
Sy Mayerson is an award-winning industrial designer-artist, whose credits include designing Lighting, Sculptural Decorative Art, Graphics, Interior Architecture (Commercial and Residential), Furniture, etc. Mayerson was honored with the “Lifetime ‘ARTS’ Achievement Award” by the International World Trade Center in Dallas at which time over a thousand luminaries of the world of design were present to honor his life’s work. The scope of his Lighting design projects, utilizing precious crystal and metals, include ecclesiastical Lighting projects both Domestic and International. He is a professional member of American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) and holds a Certificate of Interior Design (CID) in NJ.
