A 1940 World Series historic baseball ticket stub. It’s constructed of a thin cardboard, is presented in two sections. The ticket stub is from Game 2, played at historic Crosley Field. The stampings and lettering on the ticket are bold and vivid with little discoloration. There is a replica signature of Powell Crosley Jr. portrayed on this ticket. This ticket reads ’1940 Word Championship Games Crosley Field Cincinnati, Ohio in black lettering. The Reds defeated the Detroit Tigers in the 1940s Fall Classic earning the organization their second Wolrd Championship. The ticket stub is housed in a protective top loader.
