A Kitty Cantrell limited edition mixed media sculpture titled Plains Monarch. The mixed media metal sculpture depicts a buffalo from the neck up, presented on a black marble-look base. The sculpture is part of Kitty Cantrell’s “Endangered Wildlife Collection”, one of the “Legends Matched Number Sets” designed exclusively for Starlight Studios. The sculpture is signed on the inside of the neck and numbered at the base 532/950.

Kitty Cantrell spent her childhood in the California Mojave Desert where “she became acutely aware of the rhythms of nature”. She strives to capture the essence of each animal she depicts in her sculpture and original artworks. She has been selected for several notable commissions throughout her career.
