A Kitty Cantrell limited edition mixed media Asiatic lion sculpture titled Unchallenged. The mixed metal sculpture depicts a roaring Asiatic lion from the neck up. The sculpture is presented on a cubic black marble-look base. It is part of Kitty Cantrell’s “Endangered Wildlife Collection”, one of the “Legends Matched Number Sets” designed exclusively for Starlight Studios. The artist has signed the piece on the back of the neck and it is marked 183/950 at the base of the sculpture.

Kitty Cantrell spent her childhood in the California Mojave Desert where “she became acutely aware of the rhythms of nature”. She strives to capture the essence of each animal she depicts in her sculpture and original artworks. She has been selected for several notable commissions throughout her career.
