An oil painting on canvas Art Deco style portrait by listed American artist Alfred G. Huber (b. 1931). The work depicts a profile view of a woman in elongated form emerging from a geometric skyline in the background. Three white lines are situated vertically across the background of the work to appear as window panes. The form of the woman and her floral patterned dress and cubist inspired city skyline give the painting its Deco style. Signed to the lower right in paint. W.T. Burger Co. label present to the verso. The work remains unframed.

Condition

- small area of soiling present in the central top area above the woman’s head; edges of canvas are fraying; paper remnant to verso.
