An oil painting on canvas titled Amalfi by listed German artist Gerhard Neswadba (b. 1941). Depicted is the Italian town of Amalfi located at the foot of Monte Cerreto along the coastline of the Gulf of Salerno. Signed to the lower right in paint. The work remains unframed.

Gerhard Nesvadba was born in Ober-Ramstadr, Germany and was encouraged by his father, a painter, to follow his artistic talents. He is known for painting landscapes with harmonizing colors. Nesvadba work is housed in public and private collections including Municipal Museum in Hamburg and Collection of the Ministry for Art and Education in Vienna.
