An abstract mixed media collage consisting of photographs and watercolor on paper by listed artist Don Werner (American, 1929 – 2010). The work depicts and abstracted composition with complimentary blue and orange tones. Signed and dated ‘’99’ in graphite to the bottom left. Presented unmounted and without a frame.

Donald Lewis Werner was an American photographer, painter, and graphic designer born in Fresno, California in 1929. He studied at Fresno State College with Adolf and Ella Odorfer and Jane Gale. He was in Who’s Who in American Art and exhibited work at Gallery 1984, the Fresno Art Museum, the National Arts Club, and the American Museum of Natural History. His works can be found in various collections including the Smithsonian Institute and the Fresno Art Museum.

Condition

- some warping to the paper; some wear and marks around edges of paper; to the verso, a stain exist along with additional marks; small label adhered to the verso.
