Caroline Williams Etching

An etching of the Cincinnati Art Museum by well-listed Cincinnati printmaker Caroline Williams (1908–1988). It is signed in plate to the lower right. Presented in a black wood frame with an inner gold tone edge, this etching is protected by glass. Additional information about the Cincinnati Art Museum is affixed to the back. This information was provided by The Fifth Third Bank of Cincinnati, Ohio, and is dated 1971.

Williams worked as a sketch artist at the Cincinnati Enquirer from 1932 until her death in 1988, at the age of 80. Williams lived in Burlington, Kentucky where she owned Penandhoe Press.
