A cast reproduction metal sculpture by Danielle Anjou (American, 20th/2st century) after an original bust titled Buste d’Enfant Endormi by Aimé Jules Dalou (French, 1838-1902). This copper and titanium alloy sculpture depicts a head and a bust of a sleeping baby, whose head is raised and inclined to one side. It is signed in the mold on verso ‘Anjou’, and has been finished with a light brown patina.

Condition

- minor patina losses on jaw bone and chin; wobbly on base (tilts back).
