An original Mid-Century Modern watercolor painting. An original watercolor painting by L. Desow Fishbein, a Chicago artist. Fishbein studied at The Art Institute of Chicago. This painting depicts a retro scene of a woman in a red dress an a man in white shirt walking outside of a stadium with an asymmetrical sign reading Here’s Elsie. There is a large sculpture in a grassy roundabout near the stadium. In the background a series of flags hanging in a blue sky. This painting has been signed in the lower right corner of the plate by artist L. Desow Fishbein. It has been matted in tan and white, and framed in a stained wooden frame. It is wired for hanging on the verso.
