French Style Ladies Desk

Item Details

A French, Louis XV style ladies desk, veneered in mahogany and satinwood. The curvilinear, finished back, wraps around a centered marble shelf with brass gallery, over two string inlaid drawers and an embossed leather, pull-out writing surface. Below is one inlaid drawer, between cabriole legs with ormolu mounts. Mid 20th century.
