A black and white analog photograph on paper by listed artist and photographer Don Werner 1929-2010), created in 1966. This photograph features an abstract composition of three bare trees halfheartedly obscuring a poster peeling off a concrete wall. It is signed and dated in graphite to the lower right corner. It is matted and presented in a metal frame under glass.

Donald Lewis Werner was an American photographer, painter, and graphic designer born in Fresno, California in 1929. He studied at Fresno State College with Adolf and Ella Odorfer and Jane Gale. He was in Who’s Who in American Art and exhibited work at Gallery 1984, the Fresno Art Museum, the National Arts Club, and the American Museum of Natural History. His works can be found in various collections including the Smithsonian Institute and the Fresno Art Museum.

- to fair; image sits loose in frame; toning to mat; scratches and dents to frame; water mark to the lower left corner of the verso; glass could benefit from being cleaned.
