A black and white analog photograph titled 12th Cent. Catalano Christo, Barcelona by listed artist Don Werner (American, 1929 – 2010), dated 1980. Titled, singed, and dated in graphite to the lower margin. Housed in a silver-tone metal frame under acrylic glass and a single layer of white matting.

Donald Lewis Werner was an American photographer, painter, and graphic designer born in Fresno, California in 1929. He studied at Fresno State College with Adolf and Ella Odorfer and Jane Gale. He was in Who’s Who in American Art and exhibited work at Gallery 1984, the Fresno Art Museum, the National Arts Club, and the American Museum of Natural History. His works can be found in various collections including the Smithsonian Institute and the Fresno Art Museum.
