An offset lithograph on paper after an 1825 etching by listed Austrian artist Edouard Gurk (1801-1841). The piece, titled Pressburg, depicts a 19th-century view of Bratislava, Slovakia from the Danube River, utilizing muted hues of blue, green, brown and yellow. The unsigned work is double matted in blue and cream and presented under glass in a wooden frame with hanging wire to the verso.

Condition

- wear and scratching to frame finish; frame would benefit from cleaning; light toning to paper and mats.
