A mid-century oil painting on canvas by well-listed American artist Pascal Cucaro (1915-2004). The piece depicts an abstract mix of pastel hues, including yellow, blue, pink and grey. The work is signed ‘Cucaro’ in black paint to the lower margin. It is presented without glass in a gold tone wooden frame accented with black velvet; the frame includes two hanging wires to the verso. The painting is accompanied by an assortment of circa 1960s Cucaro-related paper ephemera, including a booklet of the artist’s works, as well as pamphlets on Cucaro from the Cory Gallery of San Francisco.
