A mid-century oil painting on canvas by well-listed American artist Pascal Cucaro (1915-2004). The piece depicts a still life image of a blue vase filled with grey flowers. The work is signed ‘Cucaro’ in purple paint to the lower left. It is presented without glass in a gold tone wooden frame accented with black velvet; the frame includes a hanging wire to the verso. The painting is accompanied by circa 1960s Cucaro-related paper ephemera, including pamphlets on Cucaro from the Cory Gallery of San Francisco.
