Collectible Silver Age “Brave and Bold” Comics

A collection of Silver Age comics from the publisher D.C. This collection contains nine comics from the first volume of The Brave and Bold series. This collection contains several collectible issues from the series including issues 59 (May 1965) which featured the first Batman team up in the series; 62 (November 1965) which has the first Silver Age appearances of the Golden Age versions of the characters Wildcat and Huntress; issue 78 (July 1968) which has the first appearance of the villains Copperhead and issue 85 (September 1969) which featured the appearance of the modern costume used by the hero Green Arrow which was designed by renown comic artist Neal Adams. The comics are held in protective plastic sleeves.
Condition
- good to fair; various degrees of light to moderate wear to the spines and covers of the comics; torn top right corner of issue 55; stamp on the back of issues 59 and 62; stamps on the front and back covers of issue 72; pen marks on the back of issues 78 and 80; various degrees of discoloration on the covers; page yellowing present on some comics; comics are protected from further wear by being held in plastic sleeves.
