1960s Thomas DAM Molded Plastic Troll Giraffe

A 1960s, molded plastic, Troll giraffe by Thomas DAM. This Danish toy depicts a giraffe with stylized Troll facial features, brown mohair and dark red eyes. The giraffe’s head is movable and the body features diamond-shaped spots. The toy is tagged ‘Original Monster Beskyttet Lykkedyr fra Gjøl’ to the neck which approximately translates as ‘Original Trade Mark Toy from Gjøl’ and is marked ‘Thomas DAM Made in Denmark’ to the underside of the rear foot.

Condition

- some wear to tag, minor discoloration to underside of foot.
