Item Details
A vintage 1963 limited edition drypoint aquatint etching by well-listed French artist Michel Ciry (born 1919). The image depicts a fishing boat banked on a rocky shore under an ominous, dark sky. Artist signature is signed and date in plate to the lower left and hand-signed to the lower right margin. The print is numbered 42/120 in ink to the lower left margin; mounted under aged white mat, behind glass in a simple wood frame with a black finish, equipped to hang.
Condition
- discoloration across print and mat. Accretion under glass. Finish of frame is worn on edges and corners.
