A 2011 United Sates Mint American Buffalo one ounce gold proof coin with certificate. The obverse of the coin features James Earle Fraser’s portrait of an American Indian in profile which first appeared on the Buffalo nickel in 1913. The reverse depicts an American Buffalo, adapted from the image used on the reverse of the Buffalo nickel. Composition 99.9% 24K gold. Approximate diameter of the coin at issue 32.7 mm; approximate weight 31.10 grams. Condition Very good.
