Vintage Carved Mahogany Chinese Bench With Marble Panels

Item Details

A vintage carved mahogany Chinese bench with marble panels. This bench features an arched back with carved dragons and scrolling foliate patterns surrounding cameo medallions inset with marble. The back scrolls into arms continuing the theme and which flank a recessed panel seat over carved aprons and resting on cabriole legs ending in claw and ball feet. There are attached stretchers providing additional support and no visible makers marks on the piece.
