The image depicts a marine battle scene during World War II, as Navy ships fire at each other, causing chaos on the ocean’s surface. The names of the vessels included in this piece are printed below plate. Artist signature is printed in plate and signed in pencil to the lower right. This print is numbered 385/750 in pencil to the lower left; mounted under blue and white double mat, under glass in a beveled wood frame, equipped to hang.
Condition
- light discoloration across print and matting. The finish of frame is worn.
