Item Details
A pairing of weighted sterling compotes. This selection includes a Frank M. Whiting compote in the Georgian Shell pattern with repoussé gadroon trim, shell designs, and beaded inner trim to the bowl. It is stamped ‘Sterling Frank M. Whiting Weighted and Reinforced 154’ to the underside of the footed base. The lot also includes a taller compote with repoussé foliage trim to the bowl. It is stamped ‘Sterling Reinforced With Cement’ to the underside of the footed base.
Condition
- to fair; surface scratches and tarnish throughout; dents to inner walls of the bowls and bases.
