A 1989 Royal Canadian Mint ‘Commemorative Maple Leaf Issue’ proof set. The set includes: a 1/10 oz. $5 gold coin; a 1/10 oz. $5 platinum coin, and a 1 oz.$5 fine silver (.999) coin. Each of the coins depicts a profile portrait image of Queen Elizabeth on the obverse and a maple leaf on the reverse. Estimated weights of the coins: gold 3.13 grams, platinum 3.13 grams, silver 31.39 grams. The coins are presented in a light tone wooden box with a maple leaf carving and the dates 1979 – 1989. A certificate of authenticity is included. Condition: Very good.
