Item Details
A pair of offset lithograph landscapes. The group includes a piece showing a tree-lined path with a man walking after Carl M. Schaette, the print is signed in plate ‘Schaette, Mchn.’ in the lower left corner. It is presented in a wooden frame painted dark green and gold with glass enclosing the print and a wire attached to the verso for hanging. The second offset lithograph included shows flowering bushes and trees, the print is signed in plate illegibly in the lower right corner. It is presented in a wooden frame painted dark green and gold with glass enclosing the print and a wire attached to the verso for hanging.
Condition
- items would benefit from cleaning; frames have scratches throughout; flowering bushes’ frame is separating at corners; dust cover is falling apart; is loose in frame, reinforced with fletcher gun; handwritten note “A Black Landscape” on verso; tree lined road with figure’s tape on verso is peeling away; has a price written on verso.
