This selection features ten books ranging in date from 1820 to 1951 including First Lessons in Arithmetic Embracing Oral and Written Exercises by Edward Olney (1881); A Grammar Containing the Etymology and Syntax of the English Language by William Swinton (1880); a half leather bound copy of Index Graecitatis Sophoclee by B.W. Beatson (1830); and Personal Sketches of His Own Times by Sir Jonah Barrington (1830). Also included are S.G. Goodrich’s The Third Grade Reader (1846); The Happy Prince and Other Tales by Oscar Wilde (1951); an early 20th century copy of Gems From George Eliot; Paradise Lost, A Poem in Twelve Books (1820); The British Novelists; With an Essay, and Prefaces Biographical and Critical Vol. XX by Mrs. Barbauld (1820); and a circa 1860 copy of The Laurel Wreath: A Christmas and New Year’s Gift edited by Reverend S.D. Burchard.
