18th Century Walnut Corner Cupboard

Item Details

An 18th century walnut corner cupboard with yellow pine secondary wood, possibly Virginia. The cupboard features shaped crown molding to top over two raised-panel front doors, opening to three fixed shelves with scalloped edges. A heavy waist molding divides the lower cupboard, which has a single raised-panel door with two fixed interior shelves inside, over a molded base. The original back has forged rose-head nails. Circa 1790. Includes a key with tassel opening lock to lower cabinet door. The top door does not lock/unlock with key. Unmarked by the maker.

Condition
