A hand-knotted Sarouk wool area rug. The rug features large floral patterns in a palette of dark coral, navy blue, light blue and golden brown on a carnelian red field. It has a floral primary border flanked by complementary guard borders. It has overcast edges with wool warp fringe; blue weft threads can be seen to underside. No maker’s marks.
