A pairing of limited edition offset lithograph prints after Kentucky artist Paul Sawyier (1865-1917). Church’s Grove features a fishing and picnic area that was used by Peak’s Mill Church as a fundraising site before the church was built. It is numbered 389 out of 5000, copyrighted 2001 by Travis Prints. Pinnacle Rock on the Elkhorn depicts a farmer allowing his horses to drink out of the creek with the rock formation in the background. It is numbered 1767 out of 2500, copyrighted 1980 by the Frankfort Blue Print, Inc. Each print includes a certificate of authenticity.
Condition
Consistent with age. Slight yellowing of paper, notably on Pinnacle Rock on the Elkhorn, which also has some marks on the back and the upper right hand corner is bent.
