A 2003 Mexican one kilogram silver Libertad proof. The obverse of the coin features the National Seal of Mexico with the official name for Mexico in Spanish “Estados Unidos Mexicanos” surrounded by different national coats of arms used throughout Mexico’s history. The reverse portrays the Angel of Independence, a historic monument for the Mexican people and a symbol of Mexico City, and the Mexican volcanoes Popocatépetl and Iztaccíhuatl. The coin is 99.9% silver. Diameter approximately 110 mm. Weight approximately 1 Kilo (1000 grams). Presented in a wood box with paperwork. Condition: Good.
