Conte Crayon

A 1928 conte crayon drawing on textured paper. This depicts the head of a young boy turned to the side as he looks off to the right. It is dated, signed what appears to read ‘J. Piffin’, and given the location of Florence, Italy, in the bottom left corner in charcoal, however no clear artist attribution could be made. This work is presented with a black mat, under glass, in a black and silver tone wooden frame that is wired for hanging.

Condition

- some slight edge wear to frame; minor residue underneath glass (noticeable on mat).
