A hand-knotted, Persian-inspired room-sized area rug. It features
a central pendant medallion in a palette of brick red, blue, beige, and sage green with two brick red pendants to each end. The field has an arabesque pattern of floral and foliate elements in brick red and sage green on an ivory ground. It has a compound border in a palette of beige, blue, brick red, and green, and seafoam green spandrels to the corners. The main border has a floral and foliate pattern in the field colors on a beige field. It has a natural wool warp fringe to either end. It is unmarked to the reverse.
