A semi-antique hand-knotted Turkish village area rug. This rug features a central pattern of three large flower blossoms with extended leaves and floral accents highlighted by off-white linework. The pattern is executed in burgundy and bright crimson upon an indigo field. The extensive compound border is adorned with seven floral and stripe patterns with a matching color palette. The rug is finished with a short flat weave and braided natural warp fringe to both ends. The rug is unmarked.
