Item Details
A pictorial wool rug. This rug is handwoven in an earthtone palette of ivory, gray, shades of light to medium brown, and deep mocha. It depicts a scene in which four donkey-like animals of different colors either graze or are being calmly herded through a field amid high grasses. Behind the field are several buildings at different distances, a palm tree growing above one of the structures. The rug finishes at either end with long knotted cotton warp fringe. It is unmarked.
