Item Details

A late 19th century silver plate biscuit warmer produced by Fenton Brothers in England. This ornate piece features a cochleate body which hinges open to reveal the interior, lined with an openwork metal plate with scrolling designs, which hold biscuits in place and may be removed. The piece stands on four metal feet and has floral and foliate designs along its supports and the top handle. Marked to the underside is ‘F.Brs Ltd EPNS Staniforth’s Patent’
