A Standard treadle sewing machine. The table, marked ‘Standard’ on a metal brace, features a pair of drawers on top of each other on each side. These drawers have ornate embellishments to the exterior sides. A hinged panel folds out to the left side and can be placed back over the table center when the machine is lowered into the table. The sewing machine is marked ‘Standard’ on the arm and the black surface features decorative swirling illustrations.
