Original 19th Century Pastel Landscape Drawing
Item Details
An original late-19th century pastel drawing on paper, signed illegibly in pencil to the lower left. The stunning, glowing drawing depicts a gradient pink, yellow and blue sky extending dramatically above a placid landscape. A small wooden bridge cuts across a flat body of water, and picturesque trees and hills rise in the distance. The drawing is matted in white cut to an arched image window and is presented behind glass in a wooden frame with metallic silver tone and gold tone finishes. A hanging wire is attached to the verso.
Condition
- matting is slightly discolored with age.
