A vintage offset lithograph reproduction of an original Neoclassical illustration by very well-listed American illustrator Maxfield Parrish (1870 – 1966), titled The Dinky Bird. This print is an idyllic example of the romantic hues and Neoclassical imagery that defines Parrish’s highly-acclaimed body of work. It depicts a nude figure swinging from a tall tree over a bottomless pit of softly glowing clouds. A beautiful city rises from the clouds in the distance. The print is initialed in-plate by the artist to the lower right. It is presented behind antique glass in a hand-carved wooden frame with black lining and a hanging wire.
