An hors commerce serigraph proof on paper from the limited edition titled Queen of Sheba by well-listed Russian artist Romain “Erté” de Tirtoff (1892-1990). The piece depicts an Art Deco-style portrait of a female figure with short curly hair. Her face is shown adorned with five small yellow stars. The work utilizes contrasting hues of yellow, black and blue against a field of pale blue. The print is signed in graphite to the lower right and numbered ‘HC’ to the lower left. The piece is matted in blue and presented under glass in a gold tone metal frame fitted with hanging wire to the verso.
