The U.S. capital and rays of the rising sun can be seen in the background. The reverse depicts a male American Bald Eagle landing in a nest where a female eagle watches over their hatchlings. Obverse designer: Augustus Saint-Gaudens. Reverse designer: Miley Busiek. Composition 91.67% gold (22 karat). Approximate diameter: 27.0 mm. Approximate weight: 15.55 grams. Graded MS69 by ICG. Condition: Very good.
