A graded 2003 1/2 oz. twenty-five dollar Gold Eagle coin. The obverse depicts Lady Liberty holding a torch in her right hand and an olive branch in her left hand. The U.S. capital and rays of the rising sun can be seen in the background. The reverse depicts a male American Bald Eagle landing in a nest where a female eagle watches over their hatchlings. Obverse designer: Augustus Saint-Gaudens. Reverse designer: Miley Busiek. Composition 91.67% gold (22 karat). Approximate diameter: 27.0 mm. Approximate weight: 15.55 grams. Graded MS69 by ICG. Condition: Very good.
