A 1983-P special edition silver dollar, including the signature of the designer/chief engraver, commemorating the XXIII Olympiad held in Los Angeles.The obverse of the coin features the depiction of a Greek discus thrower, the reverse depicts the head and upper body of a bald eagle. The design is by Elizabeth Jones who was also the Chief Sculptor and Engraver of the U.S. Mint at that time. Limited Edition 112/250. ICG graded MS69. Composition: 90% silver. Estimated diameter: 38.1 mm. Estimated weight: 26.73 grams. Condition: Very good.
