A Perth Mint “Famous Battles In History” Battle of Balaklava 1854 colorized silver proof coin. The coin features a profile view of Queen Elizabeth wearing a crown on the obverse; the reverse depicts a colorized image of the Light Brigade’s ill-fated charge, a Cossack, and the British commander, Lord Cardigan, on a horse. Composition 99.9% silver. Approximate diameter 40.60 mm. Approximate weight 31.13 grams. The coin is presented in a black case. A certificate of authenticity is included. Coin number 3173. Condition: Very good.
