A Chinese-inspired inlaid chest. This rectangular top piece features three recessed panels with women in gowns with their black hair tied up in buns. The panels are separated by brass-tone hardware with decorative detail. This piece open to an interior with storage space with a single raised compartment. The chest is resting on bracket style feet with cabriole legs. There are no visible maker’s marks or labels on this piece.
