A Louis XVI style balloon back chair by Nancy Corzine. This chair features an exposed wooden frame with a balloon back and low arms with upholstered rests. The exposed wooden frame offers a painted finish in cream with sponged green accents, and then has an antique applied finish applied to it. The upholstery is done in an ivory on cream damask with exposed welting, the back of the chair is in an ivory quilted textile. This chair rests on four tapered, fluted legs that are topped with a floral medallion to the front legs. This lovely chair goes with out any maker’s marks.

Condition

Condition is consistent with age and shows signs of wear to the painted finish, and discoloration to the upholstery.
