Item Details
A circa 1930s Persian Lilihan Malayer Sarouk runner rug. This runner features a central floral garden pattern in a palette of pink, salmon, blue, sage green, brown and cream atop a blue field. The rug is adorned with a wide compound border of alternating floral, ribbon and triangular patterns within the same pastel color scheme. The rug is finished with scarlet hued selvedge and natural warp fringe to either end. The rug has a tag attached to one corner which reads ‘Made in Iran, Hand Woven Carpet and Rugs’.
