Edie Harper Limited Edition Serigraph "Samson and Delilah"
Item Details
A circa 1980s limited edition serigraph on paper by listed Ohio artist Edie Harper (1922-2010). The piece, titled Samson and Delilah, depicts the Old Testament tale in hues of purple, orange, black and grey. The image shows Delilah spying on Samson in his bed chamber, as his hair tumbles into a pile on the ground. The print is signed in graphite to the lower right and titled to the lower center; it is additionally numbered 355/750 in graphite to the lower left. The work is double matted in orange and muted lilac and presented under glass in a white wooden frame with hanging wire to the verso. The item comes with an informational sheet about the artist and print.

- smudges to glass covering; scratching to frame finish; chip to frame at top left; tear to matting at lower right; gallery sticker to frame backing; frame backing includes informational sheet on the artist.
