A 2004 Royal Canadian Mint ‘Year of the Monkey’ silver lunar coin. The obverse of the coin features Susanna Blunt’s design of Queen Elizabeth II facing right; the reverse features a gold-gilded silver medallion depicting a monkey, encircled by each of the twelve lunar animals to the outside of the coin. The coin is encapsulated in a fitted case and includes a red presentation box and certificate of authenticity. Composition 92.5% silver. Approximate diameter 40 mm; approximate weight 33.2 grams.
