An oil painting on canvas of a harbor by artist Joan Lavender. This impressionist painting depicts the Sennen lifeboat house in Comwall, England, as two lone boats are docked near the shore overlooking a tier of houses to the background. An artist signature is found to the lower right corner of the composition. The painting is presented in a gold tone wooden frame with a linen inlay border and hanging wire to the verso. Also seen to the verso is a business card from the artist and handwritten information about the subject matter.
